The Assessor Awards and Certificate qualify you to assess candidates working towards vocationally related qualifications in the work place or in a college setting. The Assessor Certificate enables you to be recognised by awarding bodies as a qualified assessor and apply for employment as an assessor.

Preparation for Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) is the minimum entry qualification required if you plan to teach in the Further Education and Skills sector; to work in colleges, in workplace training or other training providers. After completing this you can progress to a CTLLS qualification to become recognised as an Associate Teacher in Further Education.
